How well was your street plowed this winter?

I know Nashua Rd and Lakeview Ave looked great thoughout the snow storm but a lot of the side streets were hardly touched.

Our new road which cost all the people on our street $5400 each, was plowed as well as everyone elses roads, but of course thats what our taxes are for. did the rest of Dracut have to pay to have their roads paved $800′000.00 between 125 & 150 on our street (Robbins Ave) have a bill for $5400 each to pay for our road to be paved.
as of yet no deeds indicate we were respondsible to repair or pay for repairs to this road. but the town assumes we are. so residents be ware you may be next.

18th st was plowed well enough this past winter, in my opinion. When is the town going to really fix the huge potholes at the lowell/dracut line? Qucik spring time fillers aren’t enough. The plows would have done better if not for the broken road. I suppose that cost will come to the residents of the street since each resident was also charged $5,400 for the Robbins Ave reconstruction. Here’s the kicker. Did you catch that? 18th St residents were charged to pay for a road we don’t live on. Were you? No, but that would have been fair. Taxpayer money pays for public roads. This time is was just a select group. We were told that it’s a betterment project and we have no choice but to pay. Death and taxes, right? What I don’t understand is WHY isn’t the whole town paying for this expense of a PUBLIC road? People are using the new extension of Robbins Ave to connect to Methuen St. A huge number of people are taking advantage of the project so why is the cost limited to just us? In a town meeting of 2006 the developer of Robbins Nest said he would pay for the new road. How did he get out of paying this debt? Hmm, must know the right people and thought nothing of screwing the rest of us as long as he got his nest built.
Everyone charged for this project got screwed. Just like the other commenter said, beware, this could happen to your street too.
